My son has used "Family Historian: family tree software for the 21
century" produced by Calico Pie. It works on 95/98/ME/XP/NT and 2000. It
is GEDCOM compliant and uses MDI "windows within windows" (which makes it
a little tricky to use if you are not terribly windows literate). However
it is a very useful program, and it's produced in the UK.
