I am a little confused
we have four new Trust posts - at SHO level that we want to put into FY2 in
2006 thus sparing some of our convetnional SHO posts to go to run through or
senoir SHO or whatever you want to call it
we happen to have our posts approved by the RCS
they have said they will not give educaigtonal approval for Trust posts -
even if they are FY2
would others recommend going to RCP to get educaitgonal approval thus having
some "medical" and some "surgical" posts?

We have one F2 post and it is a four month rotation. It was a pragmatic way
of dealing with the variable quality Trust Grades we were getting for one
post. Oddly, the trust grade post was swapped to the F2 post and then we
got some money to get another SHO and so a new Trust Grade post was
created!? Plan is to convert that to an F2 post next year so we will have
two (and can start a breeding program!!!). Our trust is trying to wipe out
all Trust Grade posts as they feel there is less control over their quality
and education.

heat to do so in the West of Scotland and are so far uninamously holding
firm that this is not acceptable.
