Okay, that's awesome! I just recompiled GAIA on my Mac and it works
excellently. It writes out what looks like diagnostic text to the terminal
when it does it, though:

That's no big deal, I'd say.
And, anticipating Tim's next question... any chance of detecting a
SpecFrame and possibly giving the opportunity to collapse or animate over
a wavelength range instead of a pixel range? :-)
