Hello,
I've asked a few people and nobody can remember this happening before,
especially the last bit about saving Analysis and then the files not being
there. Now if the backup directory happened to be the same as the working
directory (obviously not recommended!) and something went wrong with the
backup then I can imagine things not working, but even here it shouldn't
be that the files are not there at all. So I'm not sure what happened
here. Did the explicit save have the usual messages such as:
start generating ccpnmr.Analysis output
start generating ccp.Nmr output
start generating ccp.Molecule output
start generating ccp.MolSystem output
start generating ccp.Method output
start generating memops.Implementation output
successfully saved project
sent to the console? Ah, I'm wondering about something else. One of the
releases a couple ago had a problem whereby if you started the
FormatConverter from inside Analysis then stdout was diverted to a file,
and then if the FormatConverter popup was closed that diversion got
broken, which caused errors whenever a save was happening because those
messages to the screen above are of course being sent to stdout. So it's
possible that was the problem (if you did not see the above messages).
