Developing Skills for Sustainable Communities: Meeting the Challenge
Tuesday 16th November 2004, RIBA, 66 Portland Place, London W1
I am very pleased to bring you information about this one-day conference,
held in association with the Royal Institute of British Architects
(RIBA).
This Government has laid out its commitment to vibrant, sustainable
communities, which will regenerate towns and cities, providing homes not
only for keyworkers but also for other members of the community. A vital
element of this is the workforce that will deliver on the Government’s
vision. This conference will, therefore, be the first to examine in detail
the skills and workforce requirements as laid out in Sir John Egan’s
paper; we are very pleased, therefore, to welcome Sir John to give the
keynote address at this conference.
With senior civil servants, housing practitioners and the learning
community in attendance, I very much hope that you will be able to join us
for what will be an interesting, stimulating and informative day, as well
as to allow your voice to be part of that contribution.
For for more details, including how to book, please contact me via email
