I don't know how defaults are best handled in a GUI version of COCO, but
the rules about equinoxes and epochs are these:
For 4 and B, the default equinox is B1950.
For 5, the default equinox is J2000.
An equinox or epoch supplied just as numbers (i.e. no leading B or J),
is B before 1984.0 and J from 1984.0 onwards.
When only an equinox is available, the epoch should be set to the
same thing.
Does Java provide floating point and trig at the usual ~16dp?
