It might be worth replacing PUTAXIS with KAPPA SETAXIS.
That means you can deprecate a load of fortran code :-)

Okay. Jamie can work on that since he is going to write a cookbook anyway.
Changing his remit to extend SC/16 rather than starting from scratch
sounds like a good idea.
