An intensive introduction to a range of software packages that support
qualitative analysis is being offered in London, UK and Boston, USA. All
workshops are hands-on and participants will be able to work on their own
data towards the latter part of the workshop. Participants will receive a
Course Workbook with computer exercises and support materials.

Introduction to Atlas.ti 5
A two day Introduction to Atlas.ti will take place on the 9-10 November 2004
in Boston, USA and on the 29-30 November 2004 in London. The workshop is
hands-on. Topics covered include: setting up a project, using families,
networks and the Query Tool plus the new v.5 features. On the second day,

Introduction to NVIVO 2
A two day Introduction to NVIVO 2 will take place on the 11-12 November
2004, in Boston, USA and on the 6-7 December 2004 in London. The first day
will cover thoroughly all features of the software. The workshop is
hands-on.
Worked examples of using NVIVO for literature reviews, grounded theory
analysis and focus group analysis will be shown. The second day will focus
on setting up a new project from scratch - participants can work with their
own data.

Boston, USA and the 24-25 January 2005 in London. The workshop is hands-on.
