Chair of Nursing and Midwifery (AC552)
You will have a track record of internationally excellent research and
publications and securement of contract research income, particularly from
Research Councils. You will have a good understanding of the NHS and wider
health care sectors and will have first class communication, teamworking and
senior management skills.
You will play a leading role in the development of nursing and midwifery
research within the context of both Institute and School research
strategies, working with a range of researchers already in post. You will
have the opportunity to lead or co-lead one of the Institute's research
themes, facilitating interprofessional research activities across the
Schools of Nursing and Midwifery, Medicine and Allied Health Professions.
You may have particular expertise to complement one or more of the
Institute's research themes or other area of health care.
You should have a strong record in nursing and/or midwifery research. This
post is available on an indefinite basis from 1st December 2004.
Applications from nursing and non-nursing candidates would be welcomed.
Senior Lecturer in Nursing and Midwifery (AC551)
You will possess: a demonstrated ability to make excellent contributions to
research; a willingness to embrace innovative, collaborative research and
curricular developments; experience of partnership working with health care
organisations and interprofessional working.
On appointment you will join one of the Institute's research themes as well
as one of the School's teaching teams. You will undertake teaching primarily
related to our MSc and PhD programmes as well as research activities.
You should have a strong record in nursing and/or midwifery research. This
post is available on an indefinite basis. Salary will be on the Academic
Scale, Senior Lecturer Grade, £37,558 to £42,573 per annum and applications
from nursing and non-nursing candidates would be welcomed.
Both posts will have their main base in Norwich but ability to travel is
essential.
