medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
The Hagiography Society intends to publish as complete a directory as possible before the end of this year, listing up-to-date contact information, current projects, and recent publications for scholars all over the world who are doing research in medieval hagiography and related fields. We define "related fields" broadly, including saints' cults, relics, shrines, miracles, and images from any historical period; plus pilgrimages, liturgy, preaching; other genres of religious literature; history of Christian thought; and so on.
If you are working in one or more of these fields and have not yet sent us information for this year's directory, please do so BY SEPTEMBER 15. [We've extended the deadline twice already, and this really is the very last time!] The questionnaire we use is posted on our website; just go to <http://mendota.english.wisc.edu/~hagio>, and follow the links. If you’d rather send an electronic version than print the form and fill it out on paper, you're welcome to just email the requested information to <[log in to unmask]> .
Please forward this message to dissertation students and colleagues who aren't on this list-serve but might be interested. Thanks!
