Our client is a specialist unit that works on NICE submissions, healthcare policy projects, overcoming market entry problems and literature reviews and product value dossiers, within a global medical communications consultancy. They now wish to appoint a Market Access Director to strengthen the management team.
You will work on project delivery at a senior level and liaise closely with clients. Training and mentoring of the less experienced staff and contributing to the strategic and operational development of the unit are crucial. Business development is also a key facet of the role.
At least graduate level educated, with 5 years experience within a pharmaceutical company, agency or academic role, you will have experience of some of the following; Market Access, Product Value and Evaluation, Health Economics/Outcomes Research, Evidence-based Medicine and Health Policy. You will be ready to deal with the complex challenges inherent in this field. A high potential achiever and strategist, you will be used to leading and working in teams. Your technical skills will match your outstanding interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills. Account Manager/Health Economist

Our client is a leading Health Economics consultancy with a substantial and growing practice, an impressive client list, and a hard won and cherished reputation for integrity and creativity. They now wish to appoint an Account Manager/Health Economist to strengthen the team.
You will take responsibility for developing economic models for some of the consultancy's key projects and clients, and will face customers in a consultancy role and have responsibility for client liaison. You will be a key contributor to NICE and SMC submissions and a range of Health Economic publications. Additionally you will liaise with academics and key personnel in the NHS to ensure the validity of the work done.
Having completed and MSc in Health Economics, you will ideally had a couple of years modelling experience. You will have gleaned a thorough understanding of the NHS, NICE and SMC, and will have well developed interpersonal skills. Naturally your spreadsheet skills will be outstanding and your written and oral communications will be proven. You will be a team player and able to both lead and contribute to projects and use your project management skills to monitor progress.
