From Mr Colin Revell, Research Executive, The Developmental Adult Neuro-Diversity Association(DANDA).... Can you please respond urgently on this and inform the E.U politicians of yours and others researchers on the therapeutic benefits in using 'dietary approaches and alternative multi-vitamins, minerals and Essential Fatty Acids(EFA's) in treatments programmes for all neurodiverse children and adults withy Autistic Spectrum Disorders(ASD's), Specific Learning Difficulties(SpLd's) and Global Learning Disabilities and other impairments.
This is very important in protecting the basic human and civil rights to all disabled people to the right to alternative and complimentary treatments and therapies that meets their assessed needs, especially has you are all well informed many disabled children and adults, especially neurodiverse individuals, are unable to metabolise many synthetic drugs prescribed to
them by G.P's and Consultants and in may cases cause 'adverse 'side-effects', as in the Piers Boldruc case and also can cause death in some cases. As you know the U.K Government have agreed with many scientific researchers on these issues and expressed their concerns within the Governments Valuing People's report for People with Learning Disabilities, in which includes neurodiverse individuals and stated very clearly that individuals should be offered 'alternative and complimentary treatments and therapies, due to these 'adverse side-effects' caused by many prescribed synthetic drugs and medications.
Email I have received today included below from Patrick Holford, Clinical Nutritionist.... Please disseminate this
email below to all individuals and other networks and researchers you are all involved with.( included in earlier email)
Regards
Colin R, DANDA
