If I understand it, this looks like a great development.

For those who don't know, can we assume that the lines in your message
beginning with "af" are amberfish commands for either indexing or
searching?  And that you've tested it on the 1,600 sample records posted
on the working group home page?

Would you please let the list know where they can find the updated
search engine and its documentation?  With your permission I'd like to
link to the source from the Kernel working group home page.

I'm wondering also if we couldn't link to a demo showing amberfish in
action on a the sample set of records.
