Subject: Requestin information from landowners
I was wondering if anyone knew whether we have any powers (or had a similar
experience) to request Site Investigation Reports from land owners. We know
there is contamination and that a site investigation has been conducted but
the landowner is unwilling to release a copy of the report to either
ourselves or the Environment Agency. The landowner informed us of the
contamination at the site but has since become very uncooperative once it
was evident that the contamination probably originated from their
activities.
Any advice would be gratefully received!
