This international working conference is orgainised by IFIP Working Group 9.3 (Home-Oriented Informatics and Telematics) in association with CUHTec, the Centre for Usable Home Technology at the University York, UK. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings.
You are invited to send your submission as an abstract or 'notification of interest' (1 side A4 maximum) - which indicates the title and content of the contribution:
Full papers - Final submitted version 8 pages maximum to be published in the proceedings (about 3000 words, all full papers will be refereed)
The conference committee is also keen to solicit output from less finished work such as: interim research papers, applications and case studies (send 1-page notification of interest);
also, proposals for panel discussions (send 2-page outline and names of panel participants)

Topics
This IFIP W.G. 9.3 International Working Conference focuses on the interactions between technology, society and the individual, family and home. Areas of particular interest are as follows (but others will be considered):
• Care and health at home;
• Ambient Intelligence in everyday life;
• Ubiquitous computing and the wireless home;
• Play and fun in the Home of the Future;
• Socialising and the user experience;
• Involving users in the design of new ICTs;
• Lessons from ethnographic research on new ICTS in the home.
Registration
En suite accommodation will be available on the University of York Campus. The registration fee, including meals and accommodation will be £580.
