Hi Tim,
it's nearly just the plain distribution, but only in the cfitsio/cfitsio
directory, where Norman seems to have modified Makefile.in, configure.in
and configure, but the rest of the sources are unmodified.
I imported the current set of sources we distribute and then upgraded
these to 2.4-90 during the TigerTeam meeting (and yes they upgraded that
within a couple of weeks, cheers!).
So to do this job correctly you need to import any source files that go
into cfitsio/cfitsio (see the file "import_command" for the commands I
used to import the first sources and then the 2.4-90 ones), and then merge
and commit Norman's changes (usual merge branch to main).
The final job is to sort out the documentation in the main directory.
