Job Description:Applications are invited for two posts of Lecturer in Human
Geography:
One permanent Lectureship - applications are invited from individuals with an
established or highly promising research and teaching record in human
geography, or equivalent experience in other appropriate fields. Preference may
be given to candidates who can make substantial and influential contributions to
either of the Department's research clusters: Globalisation, development and
place or Population studies.
One three-year Lectureship, created through the award to Professor Woods of a
three-year fellowship by the Wellcome Trust. The successful applicant will
have, or be about shortly to complete, a PhD.
Salary: £23,643 - £35,883 per annum (permanent post) or £23,643 - £27,116
(three-year post)
