Tim, Jamie,
I've got what seems to be a working first bash at a
DSBSpecFrame class and have added it to the CVS repository (V3.4). I have
also put it in my ftp area and into /classic on saturn.
In the end I decided to go with Tim's original idea of a separate class
rather than adding attributes to the existing SpecFrame class. The new
version of SUN210/211 should include the reference docs for the new class
but currently has no tutorial stuff about use of DSBSpecFrame.
I've also update ATOOLS in CVS by adding an astdsbframe command
(astdsbspecframe is too long a name, hence the abbreviation). New version
is V1.7. Could be useful for testing purposes...
Can you review the docs to make sure the new class looks reasonable, and
then maybe try using it?
David
P.S. For you others, "DSBSpecFrame" is not egoism - it stands for
"Dual Side Band SpecFrame".
