Yep I recall when you tested XRT and came back with a list of problems -
mainly that it didn't work - and that it would be good to have pss etc in
there so I added them at the time and fixed it. I'll dig up my version and
have it committed so you can play around with it

Ooohh! I didn't realise that this had made it into XRT, certainly I've
never seen a copy of this! It must have lurked at RAL without managing to
make it out the door. The task Vito (presumably! or at least I hope so!)
added was PSS which does point source searching, there wasn't any point
salvaging anything from ASTERIX without it, it just does the job better
that anything else that's currently available.

I saw and commented on an early draft of this, I did know it existed, but
presumed it had still birthed when Vito left the project.

That would be good, if Vito really has added PSS then this needs to be
committed into CVS as soon as possible, there would be some people very
