*Apologies for cross-postings*
I am investigating the market for a contract post as an EDRM Project
Manager, who would be in charge of the corporate roll-out of an EDRM
system. The Project started off as a discreet Pilot under my control, but
the sands have now shifted so that the focus is on full roll-out across the
whole County Council, with the Pilot areas forming "Phase One". We
therefore now feel that it would be appropriate to appoint a properly
trained project manager, ideally with some experience of local/central
government and/or experience of EDRM implementation, rather than using a
consultant. We would obviously want vendor-independence.
They would be in charge of drawing up the Business case for full roll-out,
drawing up the Specification and overseeing the implementation of the Phase
One areas. They would be supported by another person as Project Support,
and existing records management staff for electronic & manual records
expertise. We are also likely to involve an EDRM specialist at specific
milestones in the project.
I am a bit unsure about where to find information such as grade and salary
range and recruitment opportunities for such a post, and would welcome any
advice about comparable posts elsewhere.
Thank you.
Heidi
