Hi everyone
We have been briefed on a number of contract records management roles this
week, including:
Six months FTC at a London borough, to lead a small team being assembled to
help prepare the authority for FoI, including raising awareness and setting
good information and records management practices in each department.
Salary of £30,000 over the six months.
Government agency wishes to recruit between three and six people to augment
its existing central RM team, to travel to its offices (around the UK) to
firstly audit their current practices and subsequently to provide training
and advice to bring procedures up to central standards. Personality and the
confidence to be the 'on the spot expert' are important for these roles.
£neg day rate or pro rata salary for a fixed term contract, plus travel
expenses and overnight accommodation where necessary.
Regulatory body, formed from several previous agencies, has identified
patchy RM practice as a significant business risk, and is looking for a
senior RM project manager to scope and lead a project to rectify the
problems that exist. £40-50,000 pro rata, fixed term contract to March 05
and possibly longer.
We also have several permanent RM posts, including:
Records Supervisor at a major law firm, looking for someone with a broad
understanding of RM issues to bring in new ideas and re-invigorate the
existing team of 10 staff. Based in central London, salary in the region
of £28,000.
Records Manager at a national museum, which engaged an RM consultant
earlier in the year and has now recognised the need for a permanent records
management expert to ensure the organisation is compliant with FoI and
other legislation and e-government targets as well as formulate medium-long
term information management plans. Salary up to £30,000.
If any of these roles interest you please send your CV to me at
[log in to unmask] or call on 020 7378 7068.
kind regards
Nicola
