Jodi and Rick, for such small numbers of interviews, I'd use NVivo not
NUD*IST - NVivo has finer coding and rich text and modeling, none of
which are in NUD*IST, whose plain text and fixed units are there to let
you handle larger quantities of data. (By the way I don't know why
Harald thinks there will be an N7 in a few months, but there won't!
There will be an NVivo 3 but it does not yet have an arrival date.)

Transcriber programs just make text, so it can go in any qualitative
software. (But first you have to deal with all of the errors in the
text!)
