Dear all,
Places are still available for the EGRG Postgraduate Symposium 2004, to be
hosted by the University of Sheffield on Thursday 9th September. Offers of
papers can still be accepted (if submitted quickly!). In addition, we are
pleased to announce that an evening event has now been arranged, which will
start at 6.00 pm on Thursday 9th September, shortly after the symposium.
Professor Steve Fothergill, of Sheffield Hallam University, and Dr Peter Tyler,
of Cambridge University, will talk about policy-related research and the issues
they feel it raises, based on their extensive experience of policy-related
work. This will be followed by general discussion (until about 7.45 pm), with
a barbecue at 8.00 pm. (It is anticipated that there will be no - or only a
minimal - additional charge for this, and a pay bar will be available.)
For details (including information about the Objective 1 PhD research
conference
on Friday 10th September - to which all EGRG symposium delegates are invited)
