I don't see how my elaborating on the difference between quoting text on the
list and quoting it outside is trivial.
The use of autistic peoples web sites and writings for reserch material has
been a sore point in the on line autistic community for some time.
Just because that particular on line community rarely co-incides or clashes
with the culture of disability studies does not mean it is an invalid or non
existant culture.
It seems however that it all it does is reveal the extent of the autistic
non autistic divide in communication and manners, the manners lacking on the
non autistic side from how it looks to me, not the other way about .
