Not many disabled people on this research forum shows me unconditional
positive regard and empathy as a neurodiverse disabled person, but what do I
expect by neurotypical disabled people?
The sort of behavioural responses I have had from Nancy, John and others.
If disabled people can't understand each other impairments, then 'we' all
might has well give up now in our struggle to fight to FREEOURPEOPLE.
After, this email and they way I have felt abused by certain individuals I
have made an 'informed decision' not to post any more research material
about 'neurodiverse impairments for a long while to the DISABILITY-RESEARCH
Forum.
I am a very sensitive and caring person and al I wanted to do is empower us
people and I get attacked for doing this, so why do I bother? I do all my
research and campaigning work voluntary for free and I don't need this abuse
towards myself when I have been embattled with Governments and
public-authorities to get them to meet my assessed needs as a neurodiverse
person for nearly 10 years of my life now.
I have been diagnosed with A.S and SpLd's, in which took me until I was
nearly 39 years old I was assessed as needing 24/7 health and social care
and supported independent living, over 3 years ago, in which a today's date
I am still in daily embattlement with the public-authorities and totally
stressed-out, because for me protesting and asserting my basic human and
civil rights I have been totally socially excluded and discriminated and
abused by these authorities who supposed to have a duty of care towards me.
I have been arrested for my protests for 'speaking-out' for better
specialist service provisions for myself and other neurodiverse individuals
with ASD's and SpLd's.
I have been caused immense physical and psychological harm on my person. I
have been tying to get the appropriate specialist legal advocacy to take my
cases in the court since 1995 and I have had to take my own case in court
and at today's date the 'official-solicitor' has come involved within my
cases.
I can't take any more discrimination and abuse on my person and I don't like
to see other disabled abused of their basic human and civil rights.
I wish some of you would understand and empathise with the inner-pain and
suffering I experience and the very poor squalid living environment that I
am living and working in at present which is 'neglectful'.
I thought that my 'disabled peers',on this forum would understand, but I
continue to experience inter-discrimination by other disabled people, in
which makes me feel so sad, that I can't even get other disabled people to
empathise and understand.
Is it because of 'internalised oppression' and the 'hierarchal and class
system' within the disabled people's movement.
I am from the grassroots 'lower-socio-economic' disabled people's movement
and it's a position where I and others feel that many middle-class academic
researchers don't want to include and actively-listen to our voices and as a
grassroots neurodiverse disabled people's researcher, that now I am starting
to believe that this is a fact.
I can't believe, the way I have been treated on this forum for sending a few
emails when their are more important issues of disabled children and adults
dieing in poor countries all over the globe and even in the very rich
western countries, like the U.K, USA, Canada and Australia there are poor
disabled people, like myself and others, within constant daily embattlements
with the ;public authorities to get the appropriate diagnoses and specialist
health and social care service provisions to assert and enforce all disabled
people's basic human and civil rights to independent living.
These Governments and public authorities are very happy to see all disabled
people fighting against each other, that takes the attention away from them
and they are creating 'divide and rule', that's what they want and is within
their political rhetoric and games to have the 'power-over' us to then
create inner-conflict within the disabled people' movement then they have
won.
There are any disabled people who are being entrapped and 'hooked' into this
'game' and 'taken the bait'.
I don't want to be that 'maggot' on the end of an hook, so if others don't
want to include my voice and research on this forum, then I will wiggle off
somewhere else and 'join' forums where there are 'like minded' grassroots
disability campaigners activists, peer-advocates, educators and researchers
who want to empower and include the 'voices' of all disabled people from
lower-socio-economic cultural, ethic, religious and class groups, including
minority 'socially-excluded' neurodiverse disabled people.
