In terms of your point below, do you mean by 'restrictions on use' a
statement like:
"Digital image files from the collection may be used for educational and
research purposes only. Commercial publication or reproduction use is
prohibited without express written consent from the appropriate
collection." [from an IMLS project]
I've always put this under the dc:rights element (at least we're doing so
for the IMLS DCC registry). This seems to follow from copyright statements,
doesn't it?
