OK. I thought Adrian was away so someone had to keep the standards up!
I'm afraid I'd still want to check further. Having seen a young woman
present with a bit of cramp and diarrhoea "from the prawns I had last
night" who very nearly died as the diarrhoea was as a result of 2L of
intraabdominal blood irritating her descending colon, I have a very low
threshold. Vote for scan here.
Best wishes
Rowley.

Sorry Rowley - my typo - "nitrites" - you knew what I ment
Notes read " soft, min suprapubic tenderness, BS (tick) " The single set
of
obs (nursing) were unremarkable - temp 37.2, normal BP, no tachy.
At the hospital concerned I understand there are no problems getting a
scan
and there is ready access to an early pregnancy assessment clinic
How harsh should you be with the retrospectoscope ?
Craig
