I think it was working until Norman did his "remove bootstrap files from
subdirs" fix.
I still really really think that "pcs" is an entity in its own right and
that "lex" and "misc" aren't. ie "pcs" is the only thing that should be
referenced, the subdirs are just parts of pcs.
