Chaps,
We may have another beta-tester for Mac. Are we yet in a position
to offer the source or built versions?
I've replied with the good news that we have GAIA running on Mac OSX.
Have we tested for darwin?

Subject: Compiling GAIA on Mac OS X
Hi there,
is there any plan to provide pre-compiled version of starlink software
(specifically, GAIA) for Mac OS X, or at least a source version which
recognizes powerpc darwin and attemps to compile under such an
operating system, which I guess provides all the UNIX facilities
(once installed the XCode (AKA developer's) tools, that is) to compile
it!
Even unofficial advice on how to tinker with source code would be
appreciated! After trying to define a few environment variables and
editing a few make and config files I gave up!
Cheers
Mattia
