The Newsweek article is online at

With comments from Gary Waller and Margaret Hannay, as promised. I have to
say that I can't help associate the name 'Robin Williams' with antic comedy
rather than serious scholarship... A google news search reveals that this
story has also made the Independent in the UK and, appropriately enough, the
Sydney Morning Herald.

Subject: Re: Mary Sidney as Shakespeare
This might amuse you. The Toronto Globe and Mail has a column called
"Social Studies" which gives tidbits of interesting and unusual
information. On July 8, included was the following:
The heading is "Shakespeare a woman?"
The piece quotes author Robin Williams and Newsweek on reasons that Mary
Sidney could have written Shakespeare's plays.
