Dear all
Just to let you know that due to popular demand we are starting facilitated
user-group sessions for existing Atlas.ti and NVivo users, and possibly for
other software later in the year.
The purpose of these sessions is to enable users to get together to discuss
their projects, and experiences with using the software. They are not
designed for people who have not yet started using the software. We envisage
that in the future user-groups will evolve on a more local basis, but we
hope these sessions will help users network amongst each other.
We also hope to run similar sessions for other software packages in the near
future - and to run user-groups around the country. Let us know if your
institution would like to host such a session.
These sessions are FREE - but we would appreciate it if you would please
email us [log in to unmask] if you intend to come and to find out
specific location.
Basic details as follows:
14th July 2004 - NVivo user-group at London School of Economics (LSE),
LONDON (5pm-7pm)
15th July 2004 - Atlas.ti (V 4.2 and 5) user-group at Royal Holloway,
University of London, EGHAM (5pm-7pm)
these sessions will be facilitated by Ann Lewins and Christina Silver
look forward to seeing you there.....

I can now confirm that I have booked a room for the NVIVO User group meeting
at LSE on 14th July. The room number is S421 and the room will be available
all the time from 13:00 until 23:00 pm!! If you want to come a little before
5:00 pm to set anything up then please do so. Unfortunately, catering staff
will not deliver drinks to rooms in the St. Clemant's building so it will
not be possible to arrange tea and coffee on this occasion. There are a numb
er of snack bars near by though. The room will have data projection
facilities and a computer but otherwise it is just an ordinary classroom
with chairs and tables.
