The University of Southampton Libraries invites applications for the post of 
Digital Library and Imaging Projects Manager on BOPCRIS: British Official 
Publications Collaborative Reader Information Service and EPPI: Enhanced 
British Parliamentary Papers on Ireland. Funded by the Joint Information 
Systems Committee (www.jisc.ac.uk) and the Arts and Humanities Research Board 
(www.ahrb.ac.uk). We aim to digitise all existing printed British 
Parliamentary Papers, 1688-1800, and all those relating to Ireland, 1801-1922. 

The post will involve managing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the 
performance of the Digital Library and Imaging team at University of 
Southampton Libraries, and our network of third party contractors (e.g. other 
UK higher education institutions, consultants, software and hardware 
manufacturers etc.). 

You will be qualified to degree level and be aware of current trends and 
developments in digital imaging. Additionally you will posses proven project 
management, organisational and team-working skills and demonstrate an interest 
in developments in digitisation, electronic publishing and/or the digital 
library sector over recent years. 

The post-holder will work between 17.5 and 35 hours per week (flexible timing 
if less than full-time) for 1 year, in the first instance (possibility of 
renewal depending on bids for related funding being successful). 

Salary in the range £24,097 to £28,279 per annum pro rata on the ALS2 scale.
