Dear Lisa,
I teach AS and A2 in Ampleforth college. I use New Concepst English, Longman
for bi-lingua translation training. It is a very good text. Both English and
Chinese are rather native.
Regards,
Rebekah

Subject: AS and A2 Chinese
Dear All,
My school is going to start AS Chinese in September and hope to build it
into A2 Chinese in 2005. It's the first time for me to teach A Levels
Chinese to English students in a mainstream school. I am starting to
prepare the teaching programme and materials for the course and would
like to have any good ideas and suggestions from the colleagues who have
experience in A level Chinese, in terms of purchasing textbooks,
designing teaching resouces and using more effective teaching
methodology for post 16s, etc.
I am taking pupils to Mandarin Immersion Course in China in July, and I
am hoping to bring back some books from there. Any suggestions are
welcome.
I would be grateful if you could forward my message to the Mandarin
Chinese Teaching Forum. Thank you.
Regards
Lisa Wang
