Lecturer in German, School of Modern Languages, £22,954 - £26,327
Applications are welcome from candidates qualified in any area of German Studies, but we are particularly interested in those able to contribute to the following areas: Film Studies, German Politics, Zeitgeschichte. Near-native or native ability in spoken and written German and the ability to deliver teaching through the medium of German are essential, as is a proven record of research. An ability to contribute to the delivery of language courses is also essential. Based in the School of Modern Languages, the post is tenable from 1 September 2004, or as soon as possible thereafter. The post is available for three years in the first instance with the possibility of an extension for a further two years. Closing date: 13/07/04.
