Dear Mr Bob Niven, Chief Executive and Mr Bert Massie, Chair, and all Management Committee, Disability Rights Commission, U.K
I researched this Paulo Freire quote below that I see very relevant to the human and civil emancipatory work that the disabled people's movement(DAN) and neurodiverse movement(DANDA and others) are trying to fight for their basic human and civil rights to the 7 needs of 'independent living' for all disabled people in the U.K and global world.
I like to thank Janet Taylor, Dyspraxia Adult Action, who shares my views on the work of Paulo Freire, as an empowering tool within the disabled people's movement to FREEOURPEOPLE, in the U.K and global world. It's taken from following Dyspraxia Adult Action link:-

According to the work of Paulo Freire's work on critical awareness which empowers groups of oppressed people to become actively involved, break through apathy and develop skills in problem solving.
" It is only when the oppressed find the oppressor out and become involved in the organised struggle for their liberation that they begin to believe in themselves. This discovery cannot be purely intellectual but must involve action; nor can it be limited to mere activism, but must include serious reflection: only then will it be praxis."
Kind-Regards
Yours Sincerely
Mr Colin Revell
