E-Learning, E-Teaching, E-Support
Tuesday 20th July 2004
University of Leicester
This one day conference will explore what e-learning actually means for
those of us on the ground: the lecturers; tutors; teachers; educational
developers; advisors and support staff.
How will e-learning change our jobs?
What new skills will we need to acquire?
And, perhaps most importantly, will this improve the experience of teaching
and learning for staff and students alike?
For more information please see http://www.le.ac.uk/teaching/e-learning/

*Enquiry
I am just reading the DfES document 'A Framework for Understanding Dyslexia'
(2004) : www.dfes.gov.uk/readwriteplus/understandingdyslexia
Pages 20 et seq are about maths and dyscalculia. On page 22 there is a
diagram which links features of dyslexia and features of dyscalculia. I
would be interested to hear what other DDIG people think of this.
