Thanks for the heads up regarding the new NQF. I'm really not that familiar
with all the various qualifications frameworks, I always relied on Gerry for
advice! I guess the first thing we need to do is to update the frameworks
mappings on the UKOLN website to include the new NQF. The SCQF was chosen as
a common spine for UKEL as it was currently the single most comprehensive
framework in the UK against which all other frameworks could be mapped.
Although there is a one to one mapping between UKEL levels and SCQF levels it
should be noted that because of this common spine UKEL levels also map to all
the other frameworks and hopefully this will also be the case for the new NQF.
