There was a a parallel discussion about all this on the vCard lists,
although no conclusions sadly!
There is this minor tidbit in vCard 2.1:
"The following is an example of the Name property for a resource or place:
N:Veni, Vidi, Vici;The Restaurant."
So there was an intent by vCard to support this case, although the details
have never been properly worked out...
"Name" is defined as:
"1.1.1 Name
This property specifies a structured representation of the name of the
person, place or thing associated with the vCard object."
I did find a site that exports vCards for businesses... They omit N:
