Applications are invited for the EPSRC funded post of Post-doctoral
Research Assistant (Ref: 04139/FD) working on the Human Error Modelling
(HUM) project <http://www.dcs.qmul.ac.uk/research/imc/hum/>, in the
Department of Computer Science, Queen Mary, University of London.
This project will investigate the formal verification of human-computer
interactive systems, with a focus on human error. A generic, formal user
specification describing aspects of human behaviour and cognition and
based on established results from cognitive science will be developed.
The RA will then design and implement novel methods and tools around the
user specification for the verification of complex interactive systems.
Case studies to demonstrate the scope and utility of the tools developed
will be conducted. There will be opportunities to present the work at
international conferences as appropriate.
Salary is on the RA1A scale with max starting salary of £23,774
inclusive of London Allowance and is for a period of 36 months.
