Teaching Fellow in Tutoring Essential Skills (Literacy & Numeracy)

The Institute wishes to recruit a Teaching Fellow as soon as possible for 3 years, to assist in its training programme for tutors/co-ordinators/managers in Essential Skills (literacy and numeracy). The person appointed will also contribute to teaching on other Lifelong Learning programmes. Applicants must hold a university degree and an Essential Skills (literacy/or numeracy) Tutor qualification. At least 2 years teaching/co-ordination/management experience in adult education is essential, as is experience teaching, co-ordinating or managing essential skills. A secondment from further and higher education, training, the community or voluntary sector or related area will be considered. Additional criteria will be given in the further particulars for the post.
Salary scale: £23,643 - £35,883 per annum (scale effective from 1 August 2004)
