Only really if the data challenges want it , in particular do they
want GFAL and also the edg-se (RAL ADS) clients which is the main addition
to the release.
I should say though that LCG central has requested that happens soon of
course. Waiting to check there are no stupid problems of course makes sense.
As for doing it during a data challenge, if the DC is currently stopped then
it is not such a bad time. Also I believe that is you loose a few jobs
during an upgrade in a distributed system then that is acceptable.
I know there is a regular atlas DC meeting with UK sites and perhaps that is
the best place to decide.
