Its now only 3 weeks to the "Diversity and Debate in Alternative and Complementary Medicine" conference at Nottingham, 1st to 2nd July.If you haven't already registered please try to join us for what promises to be an exciting and "alternative" conference experience. We have very exciting and varied programme of academic plenaries, papers, posters and discussion sessions (see programme, poster and registration form on the website: http://www.brunel.ac.uk/depts/hs/achrn/).
Unlike many other conferences on alternative medicine, we also aim to provide a more experiential and embodied conference experience. Workshops and demonstrations of therapies will be offered. Each morning will start with a meditation or creative visualisation session to get us into a more relaxed and creative frame of mind. Thursday evening's buffet dinner is in the stunning Aura centre overlooking the lake on the beautiful Nottingham campus. After which there will be opportunities to network in the bar or join our 5 rythms dance workshop: after a day exercising our minds, an opportunity to reconnect with our bodies and to meet other delegates in movement. Or just join us for the disco afterwards.
Most delegates have elected to stay in the Nottingham campus hall of residence. This will offer lots of networking opportunities and should be fun. Please join us in the Cripps bar on thursday night to get the conference off to a sociable start.
How can you stay away.......
Please send this on to anyone who you think would be interested.
