Dear All,
Following on from Derek's email, could you please send me an email to confirm
whether or not you are able to come on Wednesday 7th June at the IOP.
In order to get an idea of the kinds of things that everyone would like to discuss
at the meetings, could you also include in your email a title for a brief, informal 5 minute
talk. The aim is so that we can acquaint ourselves with the different topics of
interest, so that we can make a note of any overlap and areas of strength or
identify areas that perhaps receive less attention. You are very welcome to state
in your brief talk your general interests and any areas that you would particularly
like to hear more about. Based on this information we can try to work torwards
a series of meetings that are most beneficial to everyone.
Please remember that the whole point of the exercise is to bring everyone together
in a friendly and relaxed environment that will be scientifically useful and stimulating for us all.
Oh and there's always the pub too.
Cheers
Chris
