I think Derby get their A&E middle grades to interpret scans. What about
seeing if the radiology department will send their CT radiographers on
CT interpretation courses.
There was an American study looking at resident interpreted CT scans,
but sorry can not remember the reference

Subject: Radiologist required?
I know the answer is out there somewhere - but I can't find it when I
want
it
Does anyone have or know of any guidelines to allow ED middle grades to
interpret CT head scans for "gross" abnormalaties ie ones that require a
neurosurgeon. We'd really like to allow our radiologists some sleep (no
really)
