In my view this is a total smokescreen
I have just looked at my daily papers and found 18 photographs of buildings
including some close ups, including one with open windows.
Any competent burglar is going to case the joint (do we still use that
term ?) and is not going to be assisted by some 800x600 images on a web
site. If a photo is going to allow someone to break in the problem is with
the building security, not the photo.
I would be satisfied:
1 Does not fall within s38
2 Even if it did the risk would be so remote that public interest would
favour disclosure on request
3 That I could put these in my publication scheme
4 That I did not need to trouble the lawyers.
For some nice pictures try www.picturesofengland.com and if still worried
ask them how many times they have been sued.
