You are invited to apply for a Research Fellowship in Media and Social Change in a new
ESRC Research Centre, jointly managed between the Open University and the University of
Manchester, devoted to the study of Socio-cultural Change.
You will be an outstanding researcher in the early stages of your career, with research
experience gained through a PhD or research appointment, and will have experience of
writing and presenting research findings to scholarly audiences. You will have a good
degree in media studies, or in a related discipline including a significant media studies
component. You will be able to work as part of a team in an inter-disciplinary environment.
The post, located at the Open University, is tenable from October for two years in the first
instance, with the possibility of renewal for a further three years.
