My understanding is that the OSX shared libs for JNIAST and JNIHDS
are working; they're on the CVS trunk but not the USSC219 branch.
I think they could just be copied across; the files are
java/source/jniast/src/lib/ppc/jniast_libs.jar
java/source/jnihds/src/lib/ppc/jnihds_libs.jar
plus a couple of tweaks in the build.xml files for those packages.
It's probably just an oversight that they're not in the release branch,
Brad: (a) do you know any reason why these can't be released?
(b) is the JNIAST one built against AST V3.2-11, and if not,
can you come up with a version that is?
If the answers are yes, then can you either check the relevant
changes in on the USSC219 branch of the repository, or just point me
to the right versions (possibly the ones already checked in on the
trunk) and I'll do it. For obvious reasons, I can't test them.
SPLAT also builds its own native libraries I think, but I'm not sure
what the details are of how this works, Peter will have to advise.
