DRUG & ALCOHOL PROJECT (LEVENMOUTH)
DAPL is a community based registered charity committed to supporting people
who are affected by their own or another's substance use. We are expanding
our service to the Glenrothes & Kirkcaldy areas of Fife as well as
developing the work we do with the highly successful Drug Court Supervision
Treatment Team (DCSTT)
We are currently seeking to recruit:
PROJECT WORKER, DCSTT
Salary NJC AP4+ 7.5% unsociable hours allowance
We require a project worker who is able to show commitment to working in a
"highly charged" environment. The applicant will have to work to tight
deadlines with clients who have offending behaviour linked to substance
misuse.
Applicant for the post will be Diploma level trained in Counselling and have
knowledge of current drug & alcohol issues. Experience of criminal justice
work would be an advantage.
Funding secured for 1 year with further funding being sought.
PROJECT WORKER, ADULT SERVICE
Salary NJC AP4 (pro rata) 16 HOURS PER WEEK
An additional worker is required to join our existing team in developing and
providing services to adults affected by substance misuse. The person
would work closely with the Statutory and Non-statutory services in
Levenmouth, Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy to provide a service to users and their
families.
This post requires an enthusiastic, dynamic person who has at lest two years
counselling experience, as well as a working Knowledge of current drug and
alcohol issues.
A relevant professional counselling qualification or (working toward is
essential).
Funding secured until March 2005 with further funding being sought.
