Applications are invited for the remaining MA scholarships and bursaries
in the School of Sociology and Social Policy on taught courses in Racism
and Ethnicity Studies; Disability Studies; Social & Public Policy;
Social Research; Sociology
* International Excellence Awards: a partial fees bursary for one
outstanding international student on each of the School's MA schemes
* One full fee Bursary for the new MA in Racism and Ethnicity Studies
(this pays fees at EU student level)
* Two Teaching and Research Training Bursaries (these pay fees and
maintenance for PhD candidates from a European Union country in exchange
for teaching assistance in the Department)
* One full fee Bursary for the MA scheme in Social Research (funded by
the Centre for Research on Family, Kinship & Childhood for a European
Union student working in this area).
Applicants for bursary awards must be offered a place on the relevant MA
