Thanks for the observations about the DDA and my student's experiences. I
want to stress, however, that the student is not defensive about the
situation and is not particularly worried about being discriminated against.
The student _certainly_ does not intend to object to this treatment -- and
was quite happy that the school was interested enough to want an interview.
I was posting because of my own interest in the matter, not because I was
trying to protect the student. It's interesting to see how these laws work
somewhat differently in the US and UK.
